Pro Kicker, Yves Archambault’s trademark

Let me introduce myself: Yves Archambault alias ”Yevez”. I developed a great passion for footbag since 1981. I hope that I can share a little bit of this flame with you through this site. I won the Quebec footbag net championship several times in both singles and doubles. The Montreal footbag tournament being the highest level in our province.

My best result at the World Championship was a 1st place in doubles in San Francisco, California, in 2001. This was accomplished with the help of my partner Alexis Deschênes. After 20 years of kicking it was high time to get their hands on this major title. I was lucky enough to reoffend in Prague in 2003.
In singles I finished 2nd in 2002 in San Francisco, 3rd in 2001.
However, the accomplishment I’m most proud of is having managed to win a tournament, in singles or doubles, for at least 20 years in a row on the tour.
I offer you a wide variety of high quality footbags in the online store. This offering has grown with more excellent alternative sports products over the years.
In 2021, I still play Footbag Net at 62. Keep on kickin’.

de Yves Archambault

Je me présente: Yves Archambault alias ”Yevez”.

Footbag Freestyle

As you may have noticed, the tournament results mentioned in this introduction generally relate to the Footbag Net. It is quite simply because it is the discipline which has the most active players in Montreal where we are based. Freestyle footbag is also very interesting although less practiced in Quebec. Note all the same that some players from Quebec have distinguished themselves over the years, to name a few: Yacine Merzouk, Caroline Bourgoin, Sébastien Duchesne and Mathieu Gauthier.

Historical additions

Obviously Footbag’s history is a much larger horizon than what is portrayed here. There are a few sites that provide additional interesting information.
